Whew, I don’t know about you, but for me, the rush up to Christmas was crazy!! Getting all of my custom orders completed, my kids’ class Christmas parties to organize, baking, cleaning, shopping, (and some pretty serious tragedies going on with a few friends)…..it was almost too much to handle! Everything got finished and my family was able to enjoy a wonderful mini-vacation at the amazing Big Cedar Lodge.
It was a much needed time of rest, relaxation, and family snuggle time. 🙂
Then we came home to celebrate Christmas and our city was blanketed with 10 inches of snow. It was beautiful, until the power went out and we were without electricity (and heat) for FOUR days! This Christmas was one we will never forget; we all learned to be extremely THANKFUL for what we have!
Today I was thankful to be back in my studio with a paint brush in my hand. Boy it felt good to get working again! I started painting this french provencal dresser in Wrought Iron.
AND, I received a new shipment of Maison Blanch Paint Company products! Woot!! Woot!! I now have three of the new colors in stock and the Le Dirt, Le Craque, and Organza.
Here’s a quick rundown of the new products being offered by the Maison Blanche Paint Company:
La Craie now has 3 new colors:
St. Anne – Emerald Green
Chocolat – Chocolate Brown
Ceris – Cherry Red
Organza Shimmer Coat: An acrylic, water based cream used to enhance the painted finish by adding a sheer metallic touch of elegance. Paint over La Craie Paint to acheive a beautiful shimmer/shine top coat. Comes in three colors:
Gold, Silver and Pearl Gold
$32.95 for 16oz
Le Dirt – Antiquing Dust: A special detail that makes your painted finish look authentic and unique. Pounce this dust into crevices and cracks of a detailed frame or furniture piece to achieve an authentic vintage look. This powder also aids in polishing wax topcoats to a subtle sheen and settles into crevices as if collected over the centuries. $16.95 for 16oz
Le Craque Crackle Medium: Unlike many other crackle mediums on the market, Le Craque creates much more subtle, natural looking cracks in the painted or embossed finish. A clear, water based medium. $28.95 per quart
Glacage Embossing Creme: A furniture refinishing texture medium used to transform furniture and cabinetry into fantastic custom creations. Glacage is an acrylic, water based, thick texturing cream that mimics the look and feel of intricately carved wood. Can be used in hundreds of ways! $34.95 per quart
The new products are in limited supply right now and are not listed in my SHOP just yet. So, if you are interested in purchasing, please email or call!
I hope you all had a wonderful, relaxing holiday! I am looking forward to seeing what 2013 brings!!
